My daughter (now 1) loves animals and pop-up books. I got this and while the story is funny (have heard the joke as an adult), the pictures and the noses that pop out at you as you read are a bit scary... Not a bad book-- and she does seem to enjoy it-- but there are much better pop-ups (more happy/kid-friendly) out there for toddlers to enjoy.
