Book Review: wide mouthed frog makes us pucker
Summary: 5 Stars
Both my children 3 1/2 and 2 love this book. The 2 year old can't listen to it enough. The 3 1/2 year old likes picking out words she knows and telling us what they are. They both imitate the frog catching flies. At the end, they both laugh when the frog puckers his mouth. We read it with a deep voice when he's being a wide-mouthed frog and pucker our own mouths and give him a high voice when he's narrowly escaping the jaws of the alligator. We all laugh out loud! Great book.Book Review: Great use of pop-up art!

The story is short and sweet: the idea that "there`s always something `bigger` than you are". The pop-up art enhances the storytelling rather than distracts from it. It`s a great book just for the fun of it, as well as to talk with young kids about different subjects, such as the food chain and the various eating habits of different animals.
It`s a shame that the book isn`t as readily available as it was before...any publishers out there?! *wink, wink*
Book Review: Excellent interactive children's book

Great illustrations, lots of depth to the pop-ups, and more detail on the pop-ups than I've seen in most children's books.My daughter has enjoyed this book since she was about 9 months old, and she triumphantly announces SPLASH (ok, it sounds more like "pash!") for the final page.
This is a familiar story, and I've seen many books with this theme, but this is the best one!
Book Review: A Favorite Pop-Up For Kids

If you can only afford to get one pop-up book for your 3-6 year old, get this one! I do storytime with pre-K children and this is defintely one of their favorites as they shout "READ IT AGAIN!"
There are also puppet kits available with this book which really brings
the story to life and let's the kids re-tell the story. I found them at Lakeshore Learning.
Book Review: One of our favorite books, excellent pop-up

This book is definitely worth it. It is a true pop-up on every page, unlike most books that claim to be pop-up with just 1 or 2 pages. The animation & pop-ups are great. The story is simple & flowing with a comical ending. I highly recommend this book. This is my 2nd time buying it. I have 4 kids under 5. We have many books, but this one has some of the most wear & tear.
