Book Reviews of The Wheel of DarknessBook Review: `Fraid the boogie man might git 'cha? Summary: 5 Stars
`Fraid the boogie man might git 'cha?
Then don't read this book.
It might open up Pandora's Box, bust the edges of your world as you know it and it just might wake you up.
There are more realities than we acknowledge. This book delves into other realms; pushes the edges and it sure made me squirm.
And I couldn't put it down.
And it didn't explain everything; like a good drawing the lines are thick and thin, sometimes disappearing entirely.
And I have never encountered any work of `fiction' the least bit similar ~ and I read a lot.
It is visually rich.
It is a serious work of terror, astonishment (and enlightenment).
Hope there is going to be a sequel, and I hope they finish it soon. I want to know how it will end/develop from here.
Out of five stars I would want to give it a ten.
Book Review: Best of Preston Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fact-filled thriller. I can imagine the amount of research that Preston must have done before getting the plot together.
To anyone who thinks the Agozyen or the Tantra is anything funny, you need to learn a lot more about whats happening in the rest of the world.
Loved the book.
Waiting for more on the same lines..
Book Review: Best Preston/Child novel since Cabinet of Curiosities Summary: 5 Stars
I have read most of this duo's books (and all of the Pendergast novels with the exception of Cemetary Dance), and this was definitely one of the best - page turning suspense, interesting story line and cool plot. If you're a Pendergast fan, you'll love this book - you also will get a chance to get to know Constance a little better!
Book Review: Pendergast is awesome Summary: 5 Stars
He is one of the best fictional heroes I've come across. cold, calculating and brutally brilliant!!
The story moves beautifully from the east to the west with a good mix of fantasy, religion, supernatural, and down to earth rotten villains. You'll love it if you are into the bizarre.
Book Review: Wheel of Darkness - The End of Pendergast? Summary: 5 Stars
This was another excellent Pendergast mystery novel, but I almost lost hope for him during the reading of this novel. It had the requisite twists and turns and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. You will not regret picking it up for a good read.
