Book Review: This book is the BEST BOOK in the WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!!

If you like murder mysterys that will make you bite your nails in the suspence and that drives you so deep into the book that you will have dreams (good or bad), than this is defintly your type of book!!! Some people say its to hard to keep track of everything that happens in the book so they dont understand it but i say if you have a hard time keeping track of the book you need help in school and have the teacher review it with you because it is not that hard to understand. but anyway you just have to trust me that this book no lie is it sould be rewarded an award that claims this book to be the best book in the whole NO LIE THIS BOOK IS ALMOST BETTER OR BETTER THAN INKHEART AND INKSPELL AND INKDEATH ALL PUT :) still NOT Review: An adult/educator's reviewSummary: 5 Stars The Westing Game is a most interesting book with a plot full of twists and turns. Turtle, the main character, is mature beyond her years (educated even in the world of the stock market). Kids will love to see that Turtle (a child) is able to figure out what the adults are unable to and thus, win the prize! The beginning of the book can be a little confusing because of the vast amount of characters involved in the plot. However, a quick character map should prevent any confusion and keep all readers focused and on track. I plan to teach The Westing Game this coming school year as part of a mystery unit where students will read and analyze murder mysteries, and learn to write investigative reports. I may even decide to stage my own "death" as Westing did in the story! :-)
Book Review: One of my favorite books ever

I first read this book in fourth grade and I loved it. The first time through it was a little bit of a challenge to keep all of the characters straight, but it was so worth the effort. I have re-read this book at least ten times and I love it every time. The Westing Game is very clever, and it has lots of humor and some really touching bits, too--the last time I read it, I had tears in my eyes at the end. I highly recommend this for children and adults alike. Among kids, my guess is that better readers (or more patient ones) will enjoy it more. If you're a kid and you read it and didn't like it... maybe try it again sometime. You might change your mind. Oh... and in all of the books I have read (I have a BA in English Lit), Turtle is one of my top 3 heroines.Book Review: the westing game

This book was one of my favorites as a kid, and I recently read it again. I can see how it would be marked for kids, but. . . . the book had very adult themes. This book really centers on apperances and stereotyping. The third person telling was a good choice in my opinion, and it was almost like the narrator was another character.
The setting of this book has always captured me; I've always had such a vivid picture, in my mind, of these characters and the apartment complex where they live. Raskin does such a good job with atmosphere. The actual mystery is, again, based on stereotypes and apperances being decieving. There really is no way someone could figure all of it out on the first try even though clues are dropped.

The Westing Game is a five star book. It is a tense, page turning mystery. The main character , Samuel W. Westing is an eccentric game loving multi millionaire who dies and his will is then read to sixteen heirs.In his will he wrote that he will not die of natural causes, he will be murderd. Whoever figures out the mystery will inherit his future of two hundred million dollors. This is an exiting challenge for the reader as well.
I would recomment this book to kids ten and up for dealing for survival. It makes the reader feel like one of the characters themselves. This book is also very funny. If the book became a movie I would wach it for hours beacuse it would be a good show. If you like The Westing Game read it!
