Book Review: informative and helpful

I was, of course, nervous about my sons upcoming first round of shots. I bought this book not to decide whether or not to vaccinate, but because I had heard it offered a delayed schedule so he wouldn't have to get so many at once in his little body. Each chapter is completely devoted to one vaccine...its disease, its ingredients, how its made, and much more. At first it seemed daunting (after all, i was only after the chart in the back), but its a much easier read than it looks, and like i said, very informative.

With the spate of publicity surrounding the possible health risks posed by childhood immunization, parents are no longer simply following doctor's orders and automatically having their children vaccinated. The problem is the search for answers only leads parents to conflicting, one-sided information: doctors claim that parents are endangering their child's life if they refuse shots, while radical vaccine opponents claim parents are endangering their child's life if they accept shots.
