Fans of the 44 Scotland Street Series will not want to miss this latest chapter in the lives of Matthew, Angus, ankle loving Cyrill, Domenica, and sweet maligned Bertie. Whimsical, and abounding with charm, McCall Smith once again passes on bits of worldly wisdom in the guise of his wise beyond their years characters. For the first time some of the musings felt a bit like they could of easily come out of the mouth of Precious Ramotswe, yet it doesn't take away any of the delightful appeal of this seemingly endless serial.
