Book Reviews of The TwitsBook Review: Simply, A Riot!! Summary: 5 Stars
I read this to my 4 year old son and my 5 1/2 year old daughter who both adored this book and belly laughed the entire way through each of the chapters. I have started introducing chapter books for some time trying to increase listening skills and really holding their interest. This book did exactly that. The Twits play their mean clever tricks on one another for the entire book and one is just a bit funnier than the next but what comes around goes around as you will find out. I read a negative review on this book and I disagree. You can't shelter your child from everything, and in some cases I believe it is not to the child's benefit to shelter them- instead I believe if they are raised with love and respect for others, they will really be able to enjoy this intelligently written, hilarious, not to be taken seriously, book. If an adult is buying this book to read to a child, you will find it just as enjoyable and amusing as the child will. Fun for all.
Book Review: A Book I Love and Would Recommend Summary: 5 Stars
The book Twits by Roald Dahl is a great book! The main part in the main event concerns two mean twins. They are mean to little kids but mostly to each othert. The story takes place in Mr. and Mrs. Twit's home as well as their garden where all the plants and flowers are all dead. The theme of the book is that even though you might try to be mean, if you think about what you did before you do it you will always have another chance. And in the end you will always turn out to be nice.
My favorite part of the book occurs when Mr. Twit plays a really big joke on Mrs. Twit. Mr. Twit makes Mrs. Twit's walking stick longer without her knowing so she feels as though she is shrinking. There are times in the book when the Twits behave in ways that the reader cannot understand, but when they play those tricks on each other it's really funny in a mean sort of way. A reader who can laugh at such tricks will enjoy this book.

Book Review: Love it!! Summary: 5 Stars
The Twits, by Roald Dahl is about a husband and wife that are extremely funny, yet not too smart. Mr. Twit is described with a big, burly beard with food stuck in it and Mrs. Twit is described as an old, ugly hag. Naturally, the Twits love to play mean tricks on each other, which always leads up to a good laugh. Throughout the book, tricks continue to go back and forth from Mr. and Mrs. Twit which in return keeps the story rolling along enjoyably. In the end, Mr. and Mrs. Twit find out that their pet monkeys plan to turn on their owners with a plan of tricks of their own. Overall, The Twits is another great book by Dahl with a moral that its what is on the inside that counts.
Book Review: The Twits are Real Twits Summary: 5 Stars
This story is very peculiar. It talks about two twits who live in a small house which has no windows. In case you are wondering what a twit is, they are rude people who don't care about anyone. They act like old wild animals trying to speak. but the only thing is that Mr.Twit has a beard with a whole bunch of old....old....food stuck in it and it is disgusting! You can always see Mrs.Twit because she has black, thick hair that stand out whereever she goes. I really enjoyed this book because of the characters and how funny their characteristics were throughout the story. I really think you should read this book because it's very zany and exciting in parts.
