Book Review: Buy the series if you haven't read it yet LOVE THEM!

Theses books arrived in perfect hardcover condition on Friday and by Saturday I had Twilight Finished, starting New Moon, etc.. etc... I was very excited to see the difference between the book and the movie. I loved the movie I had watched it several times prior but I was told by a friend to read the books because then I would be dissapointed by the movie! Although I was slightly then dissapointed by the movie after reading the book just because they left so much out and some of those scenes I would have loved to see as I am sure many of us would have!;) but I did have the advantage as I was reading to have faces in my head to all the characters which is wonderful. I am a 28 year old mom of three and have always been fascinated by the whole vampire movie collections, I never thought of Robert Pattinson as the Brad Pitt or Antonio Banderas of these times( Interview with a Vampire) but I have to say he may have surpassed his role as the sexiest vampire in film history although looking at him you wouldn't expect it and Kristen Stewart she is beautiful her innocense as portaryed in Bella is indearing, Taylor I think he is an adorable kid and playes the role of Jacob Black wonderfully I just can't get over my daughters crush on him from The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl and now Twiligh! He still remains that cute little kid and again he is truly only seventeen so it makes since. Over all if you have not read the series it is addicting and makes for a wonderful story!
Book Review: Once a Skeptic Now an Obsessed Twilight Fan

I wasn't too interested in the Twilight phenomenon. I asked my Facebook friends for a good book after several people strongly suggested, "Read the Twilight series!!! I caved and ordered the box set. I figured if so many people liked it I might as well buy them all. Well, let me tell you... the box set is well worth it because once you finish one book you will no doubt be ready for the next. The box set has a nice clean look about it and while there is nothing super special about it, it's terribly convenient.
If you're debating buying into the Twilight appeal I assure you it's well worth it. I am insane about them now. I read the first three in 5 days - five work week days. My evenings were consumed with all things Twilight. Stephenie Meyers has an impressive way of drawing you in, pulling on your heartstrings, and emotional desires. You obsess about what is going to happen next so there is no putting it down. Her writing makes you think these people are alive and you are a part of their lives. You wonder about them as if they are wondering about you. She makes you wish all people experienced love that sacrificial. It doesn't feel loony or crazy but very real and relevant.
I'll be reading Breaking Dawn as soon as I get it back (loaned it out thinking there was no way I'd need it so soon) and I'm eagerly anticipating what will follow... because surely Mrs. Meyers has something else to keep the story going... at least I hope she does...
Book Review: UTTERLY CAPTIVATING

I MUST SAY THAT THIS WAS MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH THE AUTHOR STEPHANIE MEYER AND IT WASN'T MY LAST, I ALSO PURCHASED THE HOST (ANOTHER BOOK I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND).STEPHANIE MEYER HAS A GOD GIVEN GIFT OF CAPTIVATING HER READERS AND NOTE I AM 27,AND I KNOW THAT THE TWILIGHT SAGA IS TYPICALLY MARKETED TO TEENAGERS, BUT IT REALLY APPEALS TO ALL AGE GROUPS,TRUST ME. SHE WRITES IN SUCH A WAY THAT YOU FIND YOUR SELF ON THE VERGE OF OBSESSION WITH THE BOOKS,WHICH IS WHY IT JUST SAVES TIME TO PURCHASE THE COLLECTION. ONCE YOU ARE DONE READING ONE BOOK YOU HAVE TO START READING THE OTHER BECAUSE YOU LOSE ALL SELF CONTROL AND YOU JUST CANT HELP IT. THE BOOK FEELS SO PERSONAL AND PRIVATE IT ALMOST FEELS TABOO. SHE DESCRIBES EVERYTHING IN SUCH VIVID DETAILS THAT IT PROVIDES YOU WITH A WELL NEEDED ESCAPE. THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS READING, IT FELT LIKE I WAS IN "TWI-WORLD" AND I BELIEVE IN ESSENCE THAT IS WHAT A BOOK SHOULD DO. IT SHOULD MAKE YOU FEEL TRANSPORTED TO THE WORLD THE AUTHOR HAS CREATED AND THESE BOOKS DEFINITELY DO THAT.
HER WRITING STYLE HOWEVER, IS NOT AS FLUID AS HER STORIES, BUT SHE IS A FAIRLY NEW AUTHOR AND I KNOW THAT OVER TIME IT WILL IMPROVE WHICH IS EVIDENT IN HER SECOND BOOK THE HOST.
THESE BOOKS ARE DEFINITELY A COLLECTORS ITEM FOR ANY FORMIDABLE READER AND THE BOOKS ARE PACKAGED BEAUTIFULLY, ENCOMPASSING 4 ART NOUVEAU PICTURES FROM THE COVER. PLUS YOU BASICALLY SAVE MONEY BY PURCHASING IT AS A SET VERSUS INDIVIDUALLY, SO YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE.
Book Review: Hands down - best books I have ever read.

I am a 32 year old woman, with 2 children 7 & 5. These books brought me back to my love of reading.
I haven't been able to read an entire book from cover to cover for over 15 years - because I have been "just too busy". I finally picked up Twilight on Amazon, after I realized Ihad not taken any time for myself in the past year.
And decided I needed a good book to escape to. A friend at school suggested Twilight - as an easy, great "get lost in it" read.
Once I started the Twilight series, I literally could not put them down until finished all 4 in 5 days.
The story is an amazing portrait of forbidden love, with enough action, and suspense all caressed in perfect harmony. It kind of annoys me that people call them "teen reading". It's not just for teens at all. Trust me, I think if we did a poll, there would be a huge % of 30 something Twilight Fans.
Kudos - Stephanie Meyer. Thank you for bringing me back to the excitiment of reading. Also, I know it may sound silly, but you actually helped reconnect me with myself, and brought back some amazing romance and love in my marriage! I think reading the Twilight books took 15 years off my age...and I think my husband thank you for that too! For a set of four books to bring me so much happiness...who would have thought?
Twilight is my new Guily Pleasure - replacing my old guilty pleasure of "reality tv". I think this is a big step up!
Book Review: The Complete Hardcover Twilight Saga

This set includes all the books from the Twilight Saga, which includes; Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and lastly Breaking Dawn. The books themselves are exactly likes the ones you find at any bookstore, in hardcover. The case it comes in has all the book covers displayed on each side minus the names of each book.
What is included that you couldn't normally get by buying each one individually elsewhere are 4 5x7-ish cards that have the cover picture on one side, then quotes from the corresponding book written on the other. for example: one 5x7 has a picture of the twilight cover, hands holding a red apple, then the other side it says, "About three things i was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him--and i didn't know how dominant that part of him might be--that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him." (I included some pictures so you can get a better idea of what they are)
I would recommend this set to those who do not already own the twilight collection(like me) and would like to own all the books(i borrowed them all from a friend). Or of course obsessed twilight fans. There's nothing truly remarkable about the set so i wouldn't go buying this if you already own all the books.
I am very happy with my purchase nonetheless. This saga is one of my favorites.
