Book Reviews of The Twilight Saga Collection

Book Review: Twilight Saga - What about this phenomenon?
Summary: 5 Stars

I was running away from this whole Twilight phenomenon, first I am definetely not a teenager, romances usually get on my nerves and the worst problem was that the story was splited in 4 books (I am not just an avid reader, I'm a control freak. Once I start, I am not able to stop...) And last , but not least...I live in Brazil... I was not sure about the release dates. (Thank God I don't have any problems with English - Breaking Dawn arrived here only in english version). Before I knew it, I had already read the first 3 books...
I hated and I loved it.
As I read, I was thinking , only a teen love story, so romantic, the guy is so damn perfect, like no other, no living matches... The girl underestimates herself...but I couldn't put the book down.
I kept devouring them and had all sort of opinions about every and each character and developed a relationship with them and it's so difficult to break this bound...
It's a lovely romance, a great story, delightfully written by Stephenie Meyer because she can really captures you, so much talent.
This box is a great deal - great savings, especially for control freaks like me, the ones that need to have all books by hand and at once. Recommended to everyone and despite the phenomenon and all controversy and even besides the movie, also good entertainment, but does not compare to the book. Well, don't get me wrong, the kids are all gorgeous - But I rather imagine and choose my Edward's and Bella's faces all by myself...Plus, you only get all the details that will make you fall in love with them through the Saga.

Book Review: An amazing gift gor the seasons holidays
Summary: 5 Stars

I decided to buy this set of books to myself as a New Year present, and I did great. I was so eager to start reading the books that I ordered them through DHL and they arrived within 4 days from Phoenix to Macedonia, now, that's quite something. I got them on sale so compared to the prices of the Twilight Saga paperbacks here, I got them much much cheaper, it was really great. I can't start to tell how much I love the box, it looks awesome in the night locker beside my bed and it is the last thing I look at in the nights and the first thing I start my mornings with. I framed the four collectibles and now they hang in the walls of my bedroom. I simply loved the books. I read them all in a couple of days during the winter holidays. The weather was cold and snowy, I enjoyed so much the long nights beside the fireplace reading through every single word of this amazing story. I still can't get it out of my head, my husband tells me I'm totally obsessed:-) It's one of a kind spare time for me and I could not do anything else properly until I finished them all. I'm on to finishing my PhD thesis now, and I simply can't wait to get back to the four books and start reading them all over again, it simply relaxes me, makes me feel so good. I discuss them with my nephew who is a teenager (unlike me:-)) and we are both so into them. I just can't thank Amazon enough for making all this possible. Professional as always I didn't have the slightest problem ordering them and getting them here, I don't know, everything is so amazing. So thank you guys, and keep up the good work, cause you ARE the best!

Book Review: Gaga over Twilight Saga
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been bitten by this series and it turned me into a fanpire. I fell in LOVE with the Twilight Saga and the slipcased box set pays tribute to that on my bookshelf. It makes a beautiful addition to my library. Stephenie Meyer had me at the first chapter of Twilight. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic!
The series was intense, but definitely in a good way. I read Twilight quickly; couldn't put it down. I was smitten. After reading the first book, it left me wanting more. I wasn't ready to be done with Edward and Bella's complex yet remarkable story. The other books were much appreciated extensions of their tale. The second book, New Moon, had me on an emotional whirlwind. From the end of Chapter 3 to the end of Chapter 16, I was forlorn. Thank goodness for Jacob! Eclipse, the third book in the series, helped prolong the magic. Although the newborn storyline was predictable - for me, at least - it tied into the rest, which continued to be enthralling. You couldn't help but feel bad for Jacob or sympathize with Edward's torment. Eclipse left me anxiously ready to plunge into Breaking Dawn, the fourth and last book, as yet, of the series. With that in mind (being the last book), I took my time reading it. I wanted to prolong my time with this romance, linger in it. Stephenie Meyer did not hold back on this book. It got somewhat graphic, for lack of a better term. Obstacles continued to plague Edward and Bella. Their strong love and bond helped get them through it all. I still have a couple of chapters left to read, slowly but surely.

Book Review: Best Saga ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

For those of you that take time to read my reviews and complain about how I spoil things, well I only spoil the bad or the average stuff most of the time. So in this case, I would rather not spoil it and have all of you come to your own conclutions about the Twilight Series.

A teenager named Bella falls for a vampire, whose family is actually a friend to humans, named Edward Cullen. She also meets a werewolf named Jacob, who is younger than her and who needs to grow up a little bit. A series of events happen in these books and the ending is priceless!

The first book Twilight is about when she meets Edward and Jacob.

The second book New Moon is about when she spends more time with Jacob and finds out that his family are werewolves, whereas Edward only appears half of the time in the book.

The third book Eclipse is when the vampires and werewolves team up to protect Bella from a horrible vampire named Victoria, read the first book and see why Victoria holds such a grudge against Edward and Bella.

The forth book Breaking Dawn, is by far the best one out of the entire series, there is also a part of the book where it is told by Jacob's point of view, this book is about how Bella and Edward carry on their relashionship after the Eclipse book. There is a shocking twist to the book as well.

I would rather pick up a book about vampires and werewolves than those silly Harry Potter books, who insult magic users everywhere. lol

Just read the books, you'll enjoy them! :)

Book Review: I'M BLOWN AWAY!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this book series after being dragged to see the Twilight movie by some friends. The film looked like it had some cool action to it, but I knew from the buzz that most of the audience that I'd be seeing it with would be 13 year old girls. Being a 25 year old guy, that's almost never a fun movie going experience. I was right about the audience. Girlish giggles and oohs and ahhs would fill the theater whenever the pretty boy playing Edward stepped on screen. What I didn't expect was how engrossing and well made the film would be. It took a lot of time to develop the supernatural atmosphere and get to know the characters. It kind of felt like a literary experience strangely. A lot of the critics called the acting/chemistry "cold". But given the plot and the characterization, it seemed spot on to me. Edward's fighting his blood lust, and Bella's shy and trying to fight back the fears she might feel towards him. All of this was very subtle, but there was so much tension in some of these scenes it gave me chills. At the end when she's in the hospital bed and Edward suggests splitting up to protect her, her pain and panic was so tangible. I couldn't wait for the next film, so I started the book series.

As good as the film was, the books are better. I polished off the entire series in two weeks. I cared about and understood these characters so much. I fought back tears(of both happiness and sadness) so many time. I can't say enough good things about the world that is created here. My only complaint is that the series had to end.
