Book Reviews of The Truth about Forever (Teen's Top 10 (Awards))Book Review: wow Summary: 5 Stars
WOW is really all I can say about this book. Sarah Dessen has always been one of my favorite authors and with The Truth About Forever she doesn't let me down. If you've read This Lullaby you'll absolutely love this book. The story follows Macy a girl who's father has died and hasn't really lived her life ever since. She thinks her life is alright because she has the perfect boyfriend who is perfect, she is focused and knows what she wants, to be perfect. But when summer comes along her boyfriend goes to a camp leaving her at a job she hates. Thankfully she is saved by a new group of friends. Wish Catering needs her help and she needs it. She learns about herself and is working to get it right, whatever that means. I don't want to give anything away, so I can't say much of anything else. Except that I LOVE WES! he has a huge part in the change within Macy. Read the book! It's worth getting!

Book Review: A very insightful novel Summary: 5 Stars
Okay, the title of this review has probably turned you away already. What i'm trying to say is, this book really makes you think and i reckon what it has to say is funny, to start with, and it cleanses your mind in a way. like, if you're feeling rotten and you start to read it, you'll forget what was worrying you by the time you put it down. or if you just want a good book to read, you'll read the last word and be so glad you chose this one.
i think everyone could relate to Macy's problems and it's great to be able to experience all the emotions that she and her new friends feel. every hectic and messy evening the wish crew caters is wonderful (a word i'm thinking of is 'dazzling') to read. Sarah Dessen is amazing at creating a believable 16/17 year old narrator and i would definitely read this book to get a renewed perspective on life and love.
Book Review: I Couldn't Put It Down For The Life Of Me! Summary: 5 Stars
Sarah Dessen's main character, Macy Queen suffers by loseing her father to a heart attack one morning. While her sister takes the news by crying her eyes out, Macy and her Mother take the news by ... well... not taking the news. They push away the facts by trying to cover up their heartach with concealer, perfect hair, organized house, work, and the ol "I'm fine." And the perfect cover-up to be perfect seems to work for awhile until Macy realizes (with the help of wish catering and Wes, the ever so hunky and truth-loveing man of my dreams) that nothing is perfect.
I loved this book, Sarah Dessen is my new favortie author! And If you were thinking you could just get by in life without reading this book, then I am sorry buster! but your wrong! This book is another fantastic novel by Ms. Dessen. It will leave you craving for more of her stories!
Book Review: The truth about this book... Summary: 5 Stars
...is that it's WONDERFUL. I've read every one of Dessen's books, and while DREAMLAND is still my favorite, this one is now at a close second. The way Dessen is able to write a teenager so perfectly amazes me everytime I pick up one of her books. I can't ever put them down and when I must, it seems as thogh it is calling my name.Macy is trying to deal with her father's death a year and a half ago by controlling everything she can, and trying to have everything perfect: perfect boyfriend, perfect grades, perfect job... Perfect life. Then she gets drawn into the world of Wish Catering, where they live in chaos and imperfection -- and LIKE it. Through her new friends, she learns that maybe perfection is not always the best thing, and she learns to greive her father for the first time in months. Read this book. You will not regret it at all.
