TITAN'S CURSE

This book is called THE TITAN'S CURSE. It is the third book in the Percy and the Olympians series. The book is about a 14 year, old boy named Percy, a constant troublemaker who discovers he is a half-blood, a son of the god of the sea, Posiden. He is always in constant danger. Monsters, old rivals, and other gods wish to kill him. In this journey, his great friend Annabeth, a daughter of Athena, and his new companion Thalia, daughter of the king of gods, Zeus, help him. They receive a urgent call from Percy's friend Grover, a breed of a extinct creature known as a Satyr, half-man, half-goat. He tells them to go to Westover school, because two young powerful half bloods have been discovered, their parentage unknown. When they escort the half-bloods to safety, they are attacked by a mysterious creature, then Annabeth disappears, but that's not all that's on their minds.
The Titan lord, Kronos, is rebuilding his army with the help of a young traitor who revealed himself when he stole Hade's symbol of power, the helm of darkness, and Zeus's symbol of power, the master bolt, known as Luke, and the General, an admiral of Kronos army, another titan.
They must fight for their lives against Undead skeletons, Luke's monster army, and the wrath of the Titan Lord himself.
I recommend this book for people who love fantasy because the author of the book combines Greek mythology and modern day New York 2007. It also includes real historical facts about the Greek Gods and the legends of Greece, so it is some fact and fiction. I recommend this book for fourth graders to seventh graders ages nine through thirteen.
