Deepak Chopra's book, "The Third Jesus" is a much needed dissertation about how far "Standard Christianity" has misunderstood, has confabulated false ideas, and has veered from the true message of Jesus. When Jesus stood before Pilate, he defined his mission on earth very clearly when he said to Pilate,"'I come but to bear witness to the truth." The "truth" was to reveal to mankind the nature of our Creative Source, our spiritual relation to that spiritual Source, and how to achieve that knowledge. Jesus was not alone in this supreme knowledge. The ancient sages that wrote the "Vedas" of India, long before Jesus lived, revealed these same truths. These truths are sub-consciously known by every human being, but diligent work and inquiry must be used to bring them into our full conscious knowing. These truths will be revealed to each of us -- only by our constant personal effort in searching for them. No one else can do this for us.
