Book Review: Not one sided at all
Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the very few books out there that tells you your options, encourages you do choose and embrace those options, and give you information to back it up. Almost the last half of this book sites the SEVERAL studies on every topic she discusses, and then you can see the outcomes of the studies, and choose for yourself.
Yes it does tell you the many flaws in the medical, and it CAN be perceived as negative, but that's because the medical maternity system in hospitals today, is most crappy. So, if you are uncomfortable having a home birth, this book lets you see your options, and choose to have your best birth experience in the hospital. If you are looking for a book to tell how what to say to get your way at birth, there isn't one out there that I know of, you have to do the thinking yourself, and choose what to do.
