Book Reviews of The Thief LordBook Review: A Good Book! Summary: 5 Stars
I actually bought this book because I liked the cover and my name is on it. Unusual, but my book-choosing instincts has not failed me. It is a wonderful book. Although the beginning seemed abit like Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, the evolution of the story is quite unexpected. It's rather odd to see how Scipio could turn from being so great and respected to being so vulnerable and intimidating. And the description of Bo really did seem to make him look like an angel. And I could simply imagine Barborossa when he was turned into a kid. This book would look great if it were to be turned into a movie. This book should also not be compared to J.K. Rowling. Funke and Rowling both have their own styles.
Book Review: The Thief Lord really is that great Summary: 5 Stars
This book starts out with two runaway brothers, Prosper and Bo, who ran away from their aunt and uncle who were trying to separate them. Prosper and Bo run away to Venice, a place where their mother had always told them to be the most beautiful place in the world. There they meet up with a group of other runaways, who hide in an abandoned movie theater. The head of this group, Scipio, AKA the Thief Lord is an amazing character. Soon they are set on the mission to find a magical carousel. All the while a third plot comes in with a detective hired by Prosper and Bo's aunt and uncle set out to find them. But Who is Scipio? What is the magic of this carousel?
Read the book to find out.
Book Review: Thief Lord Summary: 5 Stars
The Book The Thief Lord was a very well written book it contains much better plot and not so much romance unlike Face on the Milk carton. It is about two little boys Bo(6) and Prosper(12) who travel to Venice after there mother dies. They are running away from there evil aunt. They live with a group of bandits and that's where the trouble begins. It is a very exciting book, but there are some difficulties reading the Italian. This book is fantasy and mystery, b/c this couldn't really happen in real life. I recommend this book to anyone who loves books they cant put down!!!!!! cowabunga dude read this book if ure up for a ride wa hooooo!!!!!

The Thief Lord is a great book. In fact, its one of the BEST books I've ever read! It is a magical and enchanting story that both boys and girls will enjory! The Thief Lord will sweep you off your feet, and you will truly feel as though you're part of the adventure. This story focuses on two orphaned, wealthy runnaway boys who need to quickly find a home before their money-grubbing relatives can track them down. The Thief Lord is full of twists and turns and wonderful but sometimes sad surprises!!! Its a great book to read. Not just to yourself, but to share with the whole family!
Book Review: Drew btownballer goin to Duke to be like JJ Reddick Summary: 5 Stars
I think this book is actually a very good mystery book. I think there is no way you will like this book if you dont enjoy some mystery. I also believe you will find this book amusing by the language that these kids are using in this book.
This book is based off of two kids who ran away from their home. They ran away because their mother had just died and their aunt wanted to take the younger one Bo with her. Which made the older one Prosper very upset so he influenced his 5 year old brother to run away to Venice, Italy; and they did so.
