Book Review: Identified with the random thoughts and conflicts of all the characters

I loved this book! While I can see the reasons some disliked it based on the women seeming whiny and inactive in solving their conflicted circumstance, I completely identified with the characters feeling as they did! As a working mom, there are every bit as many the moments of self-doubt, conflict, yearning for something more or different while realizing there are also a lot of things enticing in what you are doing. I didn't view the book as being just about a group of unmotivated complainers, but rather a talented group of women torn between many things and not quite sure how best to proceed. I especially enjoyed the relationships between husbands and wives, as I could identify with the feeling of distance that is created while you focus attention so finely towards the children. I know lots of women can do it all; I'm not one of them and this book helped me feel rational in the struggles I face to juggle everything.
