This book lived up to everything I hoped it would be. There is so much to find in the pictures. I was able to remember the tune from my childhood and sing the book to my 2 yr. old granddaughter. She loves it, everytime we look at it together she finds something new on each page, the pictures are that detailed. My kids (2 1/2 b/g twins) love the 'Teddy Bears Picnic' song from the 1950's - I purchased this book so that we could learn the words b/c the tune kept getting stuck in my head. This is a large paperback book with stunning illustrations and it has fast become a family favorite. Buy this and find a cd with the original verson of the song too : )Book Review: Teddy bears' mommies and daddies...

I love this version of The Teddy Bears' Picnic because it features fairies hidden in the woods, but mostly because at the end when the bears' "mommies and daddies" come, they are little children, not grown up bears. A very sweet, and appropriate take on it, I think.Book Review: A Favorite

This is the fourth time I have purchased this book for grandkids. They love it and I love to read it to them. They range in age from 2 to 7. I also bought the CD with the song for them to put on their MP3 players.
