I purchased this cookbook for a Christmas present for my daughter-in-law. I was pleased with the book and she was delighted to receive it. The one-year subscription to the Taste of Home Magazine was an unexpected surprize. I sent the card off right away and was able to give her 2 presents in one. I have always enjoyed a great recipe and knowing that "Taste of Home" has never let me down, I chose this as a gift for a friend. I then decided that it was too good a cookbook to not have for myself and purchased one also. I was indeed correct; my family has not had one recipe from this book that was not enjoyed. I especially like that it is spiral-bound and has the food categories tabbed. Best of all - everyone loves the end results! This cookbook is stuffed full of recipes that are easy to do without specialized ingredients. It's easy to read and has pictures and is easy to keep clean. The spiral binding makes it easy to lay flat while using it. As a bonus, it also has a coupon inside for a free year of Taste of Home Magazine. I love this compilation of tested and true recipes. Great photos...great instructions...and even 2 heavy plastic pages to protect whatever pages you are cooking from. My only complaint is that the tabs are a bit flimsy. But it's still a FANTASTIC book. I've bought numerous copies and will be giving it as gifts this Christmas.
