Book Review: Sweet Potato Queen Still Reigns!

Jill Conner Browne is a real woman. Although she swears that this book is a work of fiction, it comes from the heart of a woman who has faced the same daily grind, struggles, and obstacles that most of us face. She aimed specifically for the less financially secure in this book, and those who weren't destined to be prom queens or kings. Which refers to most of us. And she makes it clear that not only is it okay to be different from the "in" crowd, it is to be celebrated. And that our dearest friends should be cared for in our lives. Her character, aptly named Jill, learned that in her friends, career, and her own moxie she had all that she needed to be the boss queen!
