Book Review: Changed my skin!!

This book has not only changed my skin- it has changed my life. I've struggled with acne for over 15 years (I'm now 32) and have spent literally thousands of dollars on skin care, make-up and dermatologist appointments- but the regimen described in Dr. Baumann's book is the ONLY thing that has cleared up my skin. What I particularly love about this book is the lists of over-the-counter products for each skin type that Dr. Baumann provides, from cleansers to treatment products to cosmetics. She has done what no high-priced, long-waitlist dermatologist has ever done for me: given me a regimen for day and evening, start to finish, of products that will treat and not aggravate my skin type. I recommend this book to everyone. Thank you, Dr. Baumann! It's been over a year and my skin is still clear- that's practically a miracle.Book Review: Best advice ever

This is the best skin care advice I've ever read. I adopted the regimen for my skin type and the results have been phenomenal. Dr. Baumann speaks with intelligence and knowledge, but speaks to the everyday consumer. She makes available the names of products from drugstore to dept. store and even Avon, Mary Kay, Arbonne, etc. She doesn't push any particular brand and she even tells you what ingredients to look for and to avoid...thus making you able to be an informed consumer. Her discussions about the skin types, climates, genetics, etc., are invaluable. After many years of wasted money at dept. store counters, this is the best advice ever. Get this book...practice what she tells you...you won't be sorry. I've received so many compliments on my skin and it's because I follow the advice for my DSPW type.Book Review: Very helpful information

After 60 yrs. of living and thousands of $$$$ spent on skincare products, I finally know what type of skin I have! There is a very easy quiz at the start of the book which will tell you what skin type you are (there are 16 types!) and what products work best for that skin type. I can now go to the drug or department stores and buy what I need to keep my skin from breaking out or wrinkling. Dr. Baumann lists many products in each category that you can choose from - they range from the economical to the expensive - and she also lists the stores and/or websites where you can purchase them. She also recommends a daily routine for AM/PM. I highly recommend this book for the younger generations so you don't waste a lot of time & money on skincare that will do nothing for you.Book Review: Order Extra copies all your friends will want this book!

I found this book on a cruise I recently took in the ships library.
It is the BEST book ever on skin care and is a MUST read for all women.
I ordered my copy while I was still on the ship!
I have since purchased 4 additional copies for friends. At last you can finally figure out what you need rather than trying to figure out which of the various products in right for you. My best friend that is my plastic surgery partner has the exact opposite skin type then I have and we have gone and seen various doctors together about various procedures such as TCA peel etc.
Stop reading and order this book. You will not be sorry. Two of the people I gave copies have ordered copies for other friends.

I was convinced that my skin was oily because of frequent breakouts. After taking the test in this book I determined that my skin is actually dry. I purchased a couple of the recommended products in the lower price point and have seen such an improvement in my skin! I would have never considered myself to have bad skin - just a few breakouts and some redness that makeup could cover. Now that I've changed my products, I feel confident going without makeup and feel that I glow constantly. I also liked how Leslie addresses anti-aging products & procedures. It's very easy to spend a lot of money on something that could actually make your skin wors! This is an invaluable resource!
