This has to be one of the most compelling fantasy novels I have ever read-I was gripped from page one and literally read it in one sitting. Sharla Shangeling has a narrative that is as enchanting as it is dark in some parts and draws you into the world of the protaganist Karys Kitane who makes even the most cynical believe in magic!
This book reignites the child in you and whether you are in your teens or seventies- it will make you believe in fairytales!
