Book Review: Sequel to "The Indian ib the Cupboard"

In the 19th century Peter Pan: The Original Story (Peter Pan) was a very important children's book just as Alice in Wonderland.
In these cases a world of fantasy and magic replaces that of science
and realism.
These stories delight the spirit of the young with their honesty and depth.
This sequel is up to the original in content
and keeps the reader's interest and sympathy. Here we have time travel,( Red) Indians,
toy soldiers, nurses , doctors and Texas Cowboys ( and a saloon girl)
interacting violently with the skin heads and school authorities.
And the "secret" like that of Peter Pan remains safe with those young at heart...
Summary of The Secret of the Indian
The adventure deepens . . .In The Return of the Indian, Omri found he could transport himself and his friend Patrick back in history to the dangerous days of his miniature companions. Now, in the secret of the indian, Patrick time-travels back to the rough-and-tumble frontier age of his cowboy friend, Boone. When he returns to the present day, he's accompanied by a disastrous bit of Texas weather that devastates half of England.
