Book Review: Business owner looking for backup

I have been truly amazed at how great my overall feeling is. I've been using this audio for a few weeks now and didn't notice anything till today: I own a growing business and have 5 employees. A lot of stress, with situations that always arise. Looking for ways to assist me in dealing with this, build my confidence with my decisions and overall empowerment I found this audio author. A situation arose today, and I was truly calm! Amazed about that, and was calm even hours after! I knew this audio had helped; I listen to it daily and actually listen at times of high stress or to recoup. No, it's not The Secret, but a good side aid to assist in building the strength, confidence and perseverance to thwart nay-sayers who wish you ill. I highly recommend Ms. Howell and her audios. It's great and makes you feel awesome. NO I didn't send her any money or join her cult... ;) ha-ha, sorry have to add some humor! True, this is not associated with The Secret movie, but then neither are the Abraham-Hicks books. They stand on their own and so does this CD.
However, the affirmations on this CD are following the principles of the law of attraction. And they are not just thrown together to cash in on the movie. I liked this CD so much that I bought one of the books this was based on. And there they were, meditations from the 1950s referring to the "law of attraction." Those meditations have been combined and edited to make one meditation. And it is very well done.
Most affirmations I've heard recorded are just someone speaking the words. But thought and attention went into the production of this CD. I had no trouble listening every night for 6 weeks and I still listen every night - four months later. And, yes, I am seeing the effects. My life is changing. And that's really the bottom line isn't it?
Book Review: Wonderful, relaxing, and inspirational!

I saw The Secret DVD and thought that this would be a good way to listen to and absorb the principles of The Law of Attraction, so I downloaded the mp3 version. I've been listening to it on the bus ride in to work every morning, on my walk at lunchtime, and while taking a hot bath in the evening. I've noticed that every time I listen to it I hear new things, or rather, different parts of it seem to affect me more deeply each time I listen to it. All in all I find it very relaxing - I have an extremely stressful job and I find listening to this relaxes me and calms me down, and it restores my faith in God and the goodness of the universe! Whenever I find myself feeling negative and down, I can listen to this and find myself feeling positive and expecting miracles again, which I think is the whole point of The Secret! This recording has exceeded my expectations in every way and I highly recommend it.Book Review: A very useful tool

I have found this meditation cd particularly helpful in breaking through an emotional logjam regarding my career choices. I have been ambivalent for some time, unable to make progress on my goals and feeling "stuck". I listened to this cd daily as I fell asleep at night for 9 weeks and subsequently about every other night. I noticed subtle changes in my confidence and mood in general after two weeks. After procrastinating for years, I made progress on goals by week five. I am very excited about a new job I am starting next week. I take credit for making the effort and following through but I absolutely believe that this meditation helped me break through self imposed barriers to success. I don't know if this cd is for everyone, but if you have been feeling "stuck" or even find it difficult to meditate on a regular basis, I think you will reap benefits falling asleep to this cd.Book Review: Wonderful Meditation

When I start to feel a little overwhelmed with life stress, I immediately start to listen to this CD (or another on of Kelly's CD's) before bedtime each night. Not only do I fall into a peaceful sleep, but i wake up feeling ready to take on the world.
For those of you who said you had experienced bad dreams or unpleasant feeling while listening, I have had occasions where this came up a little bit too. I believe this is just our (sometimes stubborn LOL) old patterns and negative belief systems coming up. We need to work through these, keep listening, and eventually we will get over the hump!
I also listened to "Deep Healing" prior to a surgical procedure as well as while I was recovering, and it helped a TON with my pre anxiety, post pain, and the time it took to heal.
