Book Review: As Grimace-Producing as a Can of SPAM

Ten minutes into this book (audio version), I had to delete it from my MP3 player. I wanted to delete it after 3 minutes, but I forced myself to try to give it a fair chance. However, the next 7 minutes showed no promise of improvement. The author doesn't "show", she only "tells". The writing was like eating Spam when you want t-bone steak. It's quick and easy--but also completely unsatisfying and blah. I still feel disgusted just thinking about it. It was that bad.Book Review: predictable and unbelievable

This was my first time reading Barbara Delinsky and I was very disappointed. I guessed the ending within the first 50 pages and found her characters weak and unbelievable. Way too sappy for my tastes.
