Book Reviews of The Satanic Witch

Book Review: Quite possibly the best book for a woman to read...
Summary: 5 Stars

Before you overlook this book based off its title and its author, take a minute to ignore your possible fears and keep a more open mind. This book may have been written for the Satanic witch in mind, but to be honest it would be better labeled as a compendium for any woman who wishes to know how to play the game when it comes to getting what she wants from men, friends, women and the people she interacts with on a daily basis.

What Anton Lavey covers in this book is not so much terrible secrets nor is it about anything arcane, but rather he explains and details the human nature and how to use it to your own advantage. This book is for women though and what tweaks and adjustments they can make to their personality, looks, etc to influence the way others think and therefore how to sway their favor. Chapters here cover a wide variety of topics and their applications in snaring your prey, so to speak. Not all conquests here though are of a sexual nature. Lavey also gives tips on getting along with coworkers and other women.

There are many topics covered in this book but I think my favorite thing was how empowering this book was. Long before I read it I heard many things such as Anton Lavey was sexist and a misongynist, etc. After reading this however, it would take a complete idiot to think that. This quite possibly is the book that has single handedly been empowering witches/women since it's original printing in 1970.

You will find no advice here to diet and become an anorexic husk of a woman, but rather learn the beauty inherant in your own natural body whether it be thin, plump, or plus sized. He tells that even if so many of us are programmed these days to see starving models as icons of beauty, most men when you get to the heart of the matter are happy to have a beautiful and fleshy woman. Even before I picked this book up I had noted how as a plumper woman and therefore not the image of beauty this world endorses, I still had much better luck with men then my skinny "glamorous" girlfriends did. As Lavey will explain, it's natural and Nature will always win in the end.

Another of my favorite things about this book is it teaches the subtle almost imperceptible ways that control can be employed through Law of the Forbidden, stating that whatever is generally is forbidden to see and labeled as "bad" or "naughty", can hold the greatest power when put into play in the simplest of ways. A normal everyday woman accidentally flashing the tops of her thigh highs with embarassment is always more alluring than the exotic dancer on stage showing off her nude body because it is something a man knows he was not meant to see and therefore infinately more titilatting than anything the dancer could show.

All in all if you are a woman who wants to get more out of her femininity then you had better read this book. You will not find anything even half as effective in the various women's magazines like Cosmo or in reading books on sex and seduction. In comparison to the knowledge Anton has outlined and explained in this book, all their tips are cheap tricks in comparison. The principles here are those set forth by Nature, not man, and so will be the most effective weapon you can wield in your life as a woman. Anton helps you understand how to do just that, and sometimes if it's not attention you want, how to get rid of it as well.

Whether you buy this book here, borrow it from a friend, or check it out at the library, this is absolute required reading for a self respecting and crafty woman. The fact that you have read this will already give you a leg up on the competition and if properly understood and utilized will turn you into a clever little minx. You need not look like a supermodel to be an interesting, stimulating, beautiful and powerful witch. This book, in it's infinite wisdom, could work almost as a perfect therapy to the jilted and unhappy women who have been victims of fashion, diet, and other women. This book will get you back in touch with your own personal power and beauty. I cannot recommend this book enough for women who are not afraid of reclaiming their power and themselves.
