Book Reviews of The Runaway BunnyBook Review: No need for board book Summary: 4 Stars
This is a lovely book but my daughters did not have the attention span for this book until they were at least 18 months - 2 years. Therefore, there's no need to have a board-book version of this book. It's really not intended for infants.
Book Review: Sweet Summary: 4 Stars
I do not yet have any kids of my own, but I was touched by the sweet message of maternal love in this book. The illustrations are gorgeous.
Book Review: Classic, but there's one better Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this for my son after receiving Goodnight Moon, which is written by same author. Both are classics and the colored pages are more engaging to my 18 month old than the black & white pages. A similar story line as Runaway Bunny but with a more colorful, easy-flowing story is I Love You, Stinky Face by Lisa McCourt. My son just won't put it down and wants it read to him over and over again.
Book Review: Cost-cutting illustration poor Summary: 3 Stars
Only rated 3-stars due to illustrations. What a dissapointment to find black and white illustrated pages mixed in between the colored pages in this beautiful children's book written in the 40's. I suppose, in and attempt to cut cost. Poorly reproduced.
Book Review: Printing Error Summary: 3 Stars
The book has the complete story, then a few blank pages at the end and restarts the story half way through. I'm a little hesitent to give it as a gift.
