Book Reviews of The Rape Of Palestine: Hope Destroyed, Justice Denied

Book Review: A Fearless Compendium
Summary: 5 Stars

Professor William A. Cook nails Zionism. The intensity of his indignation and outrage is displayed on nearly every page of this compilation of the myriad crimes against humanity waged on the defenseless indigenous residents of Palestine by Zionist Israel. From some 35 articles spanning mid-2005 to July 2008, Professor Cook assembles a progression of actual events along with a blistering expose which shreds the overall fabric of the Zionist project whose aim is to have all of the Holy Land. The reader is assaulted by the enormity of this Zionist menace -- and the utter, incompetent failure of the rest of the world to confront it and end its transgressions.

This quotation from page 83 of my paperback copy of "Hope Destroyed -- Justice Denied -- The Rape of Palestine" is a typically forthright Cook comment: "...when the truth is made manifest...the world will see...that (Gen. Ariel) Sharon has destroyed the moral fiber of Judaism. What Jews suffered under the boots of Nazi Germany -- the humiliation, torture, powerlessness, and fear -- impressed on them by a racist nation arrogant in (its) superiority, the Israelis now inflict on the hapless people of Palestine."

Professor Cook doesn't spare the fellow travelers -- the Christian-fundamentalist "Christian Zionists"; the craven, complicit-in-criminality U.S. Congress and executive -- who enable these depraved people who consider themselves (1) chosen and (2) above any earthly law. I was particularly drawn to a stout putdown of Christian Zionist John Hagee on pages 246-7.

The book really grabs one's attention! -- such that it became a compelling need for me to rush from one chapter to the next. As a personal 45-year observer of the evils of Zionism, I know most of the facts Professor Cook lays out in meticulous detail. There are also chapters, such as Chapter 23 addressing an attempt by Canadian Zionists to muzzle Professor Cook, which were news to and illuminating to me.

This is an important book. I recommend it to any level of reader. Don't skip: read chapter by chapter. The reader will be caught up in the suspense; in the end, the awfulness of it all -- this Zionist drive to eliminate, with excruciating force and arrogance, a perfectly fine population group from its land and heritage -- will cause revulsion and shame that this is being done on our watch.

Summary of The Rape Of Palestine: Hope Destroyed, Justice Denied

"The Rape of Palestine" offers an American's perspective on the last four years of the systematic genocide taking place in Palestine. Cook provides an in depth analysis on the inhumane actions and policies of the Sharon and Olmert administrations as they defy the resolutions of the United Nations, the Geneva Accords, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the International Court of Justice. He analyzes the total lack of moral behavior that results from the Zionist imposition of their secular ideology that operates in consort with the Neo-Con operatives in the Bush Administration with the full support of AIPAC. The book is a composite of articles published over the last four years that complements his earlier volume "Tracking Deception: Bush Mid-East Policy" published in 2006. Together they represent a damning indictment of leaders in both countries that are psychopathic in nature, virtually immune to conscience or empathy for fellow human beings.
