Book Review: A Very Interesting Read
Summary: 5 Stars
Ok, so I actually don't think the book necesarrily deserves 5 stars (prolly closer to a 4), but I am admitedly trying to raise the overall rating, as it certainly deserves a better rating than Laurell K Hamiltons latest book!!!!
I agree with many of the reviewers that the characters were pretty much unlikeable. But that is what made the book interesting to me, and more... human I guess. I think it was a brave move on the author's part to show the flaws, and let the characters be human, not heroes. I will certainly read the next book, and the next if it is a trilogy, just to see what develops.
The plot was intersting, and twists were unpredictable. The backstory is intriguing enough to encourage exploration, without being so vague as to be frustrating. All in all I enjoyed the book, and feel respect for the author to stray away from the norm of her genre.
