Book Reviews of The PowerScore LSAT Logic Games Bible

Book Review: Must Have LSAT Study Companion!
Summary: 5 Stars

When I took my first practice LSAT I received a 145. My weakest section was the logic games, but after reading this book it became my easiest section. I recently took the June 2008 LSAT and received a 153- not bad if you are looking for mediocre schools, and received 21 of 23 on the Logic Games section. I know a lot of fellow LSAT takers who have problem with this portion of the LSAT and the books they read have all of these wacky, difficult to understand diagrams.
This prep book gives you clear, and easy instructions that become like second nature with enough practice. I probably studied for less than a month with the Logic Games bible. Oh, and I do plan on taking the upcoming October LSAT and using the Logical Reasoning Bible(same company, must be good right?) along with anything I can find on reading comprehension!

Book Review: Great, great book. You can start this book blind and come out with a third eye.
Summary: 5 Stars

I first ordered The Logical Reasoning Bible and got about 100 pages into that when I realized it was best to start with this book instead. I'm now halfway into the Logic Games Bible and feeling very confident. I've never researched the LSAT before so I had no idea what kind of test it would be. Now, with this book, I feel like I am well prepared. I would suggest getting these LSAT Bible books before spending the big bucks on the classes. The writing is very conversational and flows nicely. Before you know it, you're doing logic games like a pro. Great book and I can see why it is so highly recommended and praised.

Also, it is much cheaper to get it on Amazon then the bookstore. The suggested price comes out to about $70 at a brick and mortar store! It's almost half off here on Amazon. Amazon rules!

Book Review: Two Week Crash Course
Summary: 5 Stars

Although I do not recommend my study methods to everyone, I can say that this book was incredibly helpful in teaching me everything I needed to know about how to set up and approach the logic game section of the LSAT in under two weeks. The only games I did not agree with the setup on were the pure sequencing games. For sequencing, this book offers an interesting rule simplification into ordering method process whereas the way I found easiest was the Princeton Review/Atlas Prep (and possibly many others) method of creating a sequence "tree" which hinges on the incredible "zig-zag" rule. In the end though, I think this book gave me the confidence I needed to walk into the testing room ready to go. Definitely a good purchase.

Book Review: Definitely an LSAT prep must have
Summary: 5 Stars

Like their Logical Reasoning Bible, what I liked about this book is that it is like having a tutor sitting next to you explaining how to go about things. I've gone through many other logic games books and this one still ranks to me as #1 because of that.

The book is great for breadth of material as well as depth. Definitely comprehensive.

The book tells you the typical kinds of inferences you should be looking for immediately after processing the rules. Lots of tips and tricks to be found in this book. All taught using real LSAT questions. I found their selection of games to be quite representative as well.

If you are only going to get one logic games book, this is the one.

Book Review: Recommended to me, and I recommend it to others!
Summary: 5 Stars

A friend of mine who attends one of the top Law Schools recommended this book to me. It was tremendously useful in helping me prepare for the LSAT. It's very comprehensive, yet it's well written and well organized so you don't get bogged down. Even though I would get through a big chunk of content at a time, it was time well spent. I finished the book in 2 weeks. Logic games were never a weak point for me, but if nothing else, you can always learn to do them faster! SPEED is key! All it takes it practice and some tricks (both of which this book helps you with).
