Like other potty books, this book begins by introducing the main character and then going into the potty steps in a friendly, easy to understand way for kids. I do recommend this book, it isn't going to magically make your child learn to use the potty, but reading it frequently to your kid will help him/her remember what to do when they feel the need to go potty.Book Review: best potty book

my daughter is 2 and loves to read when we first read this book she wanted nothing to do with it but the next few times she was totally into it and now she is all for the potty book its very cute in rhyme and fun for younger children helps them see they can be proud of themselves for peeing on the potty and doesn't just nag them that they should go...Book Review: Great first step

When we began potty training my daughter, we got this book. While it didn't get her fully trained, it was helpful in explaining the process to her in a way she could understand. With the assistance of a doll that wets, we were able to get her fully potty-trained in no time. She nows shows the book to her baby dolls to help them learn how to go too.Book Review: The perfect potty book

I can't say enough about this book. It's ingenious because toddlers can identify with the character completely. My two-year-old loves "Hannah" and especially the line, "That's ok Hannah" (the character who has an accident). The part about calling Grandma with the news of success is a very effective motivator. My daughter didn't even want to get near the potty and we tried everything from toys to M&M's to a Wake Forest University education. However, once she "read" the book the first time, she wants to sit on the potty just look at it. While we are still trudging along, she has had several successful trips to the potty. Thank you for this book.
