Book Review: A Must Have!
Summary: 5 Stars
As an aspiring photographer and beginning Photoshop user I needed some direction to make sense of all of Photoshop's possibilities. This book is it!
I have been very pleased with the directions, which are written clearly and take you step by step through each process. There are sample photos along the way illustrating the results of each step as well as close-ups of the menus and buttons to use.
I am a Mac user, and I have had no problem following the directions. The key shortcuts are given for PC, but then are included in parentheses for Mac.
My favorite actions that I have learned from this book include:
-getting better conversions to black and white
-adding vignettes
-sharpening and blurring
-correcting light and shadows
-switching heads in group shots (so everyone is smiling!)
-healing and cloning
And this is only a fraction of what is taught in the book! A must have!
