I love this book. It was well written and a great story. I like the ending. I'd tell you but then it will spoil the ending. I do agree that Roaul's transformation from this charming young man to monster was a bit extreme, but what would you do if the love of your life was visiting someone who tried to kill you. I am a true phan of The Phantom of the Opera, and I would highly recommend Stefanie Cole's "The Phantom Returns." Her writing is wonderful, and the story and characters drew me in immediately. I really enjoyed the ending of this book. But, I wasn't thrilled with the getting there. Even though the book was short I felt that the length of time they took close to the end was ridiculous for the story.
