This book represent the best collection of scientific writing you can pick from any bookshelf. Dawkins simply introduces the pieces, but still can provide his insight on the discussed matters with his witty and direct style.
The scientific papers you'll find here are really well chosen and, at least in my opinion, will often let you willing to get you eyes on the whole books they are taken from.
If you and the author will pardon me, I'll claim this book represent the gospel of Science... if you see what I mean!
I hope it will find a place in any scientific curricula starting from secondary school.
