I was hoping the book would give more actual ways to layout a scrap room. The photos give rooms already done and that helped but I am starting from scratch and wanted more ideas on furniture etc. to purchase or perhaps a list with contact info of people who do this for a living would have been nice. I couldn't wait to get this book. I thought it had a ton of great ideas that i could incorporate into scrap space. like another reader i was wanting to know where a lot of items could be purchased, but those sources were not provided.Book Review: I wish I could write a glowing review for this book . . .

I really, really wish I could have said this book was life-changing, or at the very least, that it helped me renovate my scrapbooking habits and space. I loved Stacy Julian's "The Big Picture," and with her enthusiastic recommendation for this book, I had high hopes.
Graphically speaking, the book is very well-laid out. There's lot of white space and beautiful pictures. When it comes to actual content, though, I found it to be less than helpful. I read the entire book cover to cover, and got maybe two minor ideas that I plan on using out of it. Maybe I'm just not left-brained enough, but for me, it was not worth the purchase price.

The book is good at going through the different concepts/approaches to organization and does show examples of products to use. It does show several rooms of scrapbookers and how they have organized. This book would be excellent for non-organizers trying to get a grasp on their product and space (and time). If you are an organizational guru then there may be a couple things to gleam. Great photography throughout the book.
