I did not have huge expectations for this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. It does help you to really stop and consider what type of scrapbooker you are and what system will work best for you. I got lots of ideas from each section and from the scrapbook rooms that were shown. There are also a few nice project ideas as well.
I am not sure what more people were expecting.....this book provided the basic nuts and bolts to organization with a lot of creativity and style. It would've been nice to have more complete listings of supplies but I think you should be able to find most items or similar ones at a scrapbook, craft, or office supply store.
Book Review: More than Meets the Eye

At first glance this book can appear to state the obvious. However, if the reader takes time to think about the fundamental questions the authors pose, there is a catalyst for inspiration. The purpose of the book is to get to the heart of why a person is inspired to scrapbook (which is highly personal).
If you take time to think through the questions, the book will serves its purpose to inspire you and and help you create an organizational style that works for you.
My only suggestion is that the resource guide could be more robust and specific so it would be easier for the reader to purchase products that meet their needs.

I brought this product after having coveted it for a while and at first glance I was a little disappointed. Then one day in some quiet time I pulled it out again and re-read it, taking time to think about the points the authors have made and to go through the worksheets.
As we are doing renovations I wanted to get my (teeny tiny) Scrap Space & study right - and with this book I'm confident it will be.
Plus - lots of great, illustrative pictures and clean layout.

I bought this book because of all of the ideas on how to physically organize a scrapbook room. The book was very helpful. I garnered many, many ideas...having some things that I hadn't even considered pointed out. The book will not be the end-all-be-all in organizing your scrapbooking, but will certainly be helpful. I am glad that I bought it.
