Book Review: Delicious recipes for excellent health from a scientist and healer

This volume presents a basic introduction to the Budwig Protocol which has been used successfully as a cure for many conditions including cancer for over 50 years. The Protocol therefore also serves as a general way of healthy eating and as a cancer preventative.
There are over 160 recipes many of which use the core ingredients of flax oil and cottage cheese (quark) in inventive and delicious ways. The core recipe for the basic Budwig Muesli is given with variations - as is the recipe for the Budwig Mayonnaise to be eaten with the raw salads as part of lunch which helps to make the salad palatable. The recipe for Oleolux is also given which blends Coconut Oil with Flax Oil in a special way to make a healthy substitute for butter.
I have made some of these recipes myself and can vouch for the health benefits that are the result of eating according to these principles: significant increases in energy, stamina and sense of well-being, smoother skin and hair and real colour in the complexion.
Dr Budwig's other two books in English translation offer a deeper understanding of her philosophy and principles: "Flax Oil as a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases" and "Cancer: The Problem and the Solution".
Expect to purchase and use a lot of flax oil if you decide to eat this way but the health benefits will be noticeable and it is also reassuring to know that one is now eating in a way that makes it much less likely that one would ever fall prey to cancer. Highly recommended!
