Book Reviews of The Official SAT Study Guide: For the New SATBook Review: Best SAT study available Summary: 5 Stars
This book is the only source for real test questions. There are several knock offs but this is the one and only real deal. College Prep Coach, the premier test prep company in the country, uses this guide exclusively in its course. If you are serious about SAT test prep this book is a must have item.
Book Review: Preparing Students for the SAT Summary: 5 Stars
The real deal! One can't do better than have actual tests from the test-makers! This text includes ample preliminarly explanation of test questions and reference material (first half of book) before launching into a substantial series of practice tests. I find it ideal for classroom use.
Book Review: SAT Prep Summary: 5 Stars
Several hundred pages of review materials complement the full-length practice tests. This book is published by the College Board, the organization that creates the SAT. I used this with my students last year and they all agreed that the practice materials were very much like the real test.
Book Review: Real Tests Summary: 5 Stars
I used this book to prep for the October SAT because it's the only one (that I know) that uses real SAT questions. Seems like the best way to study -- almost as good as getting the questions in advance. (Well, maybe not that good...) The "helpful" tips stuff isn't that great, though.
Book Review: Absolutely Essential Summary: 5 Stars
This book is absolutely essential for anyone taking the SAT I. The test questions are the most authentic available, and it comes with an answer key. I used this book along with SAT Math Cognition (which explains the answers to the math questions), and I recommend them to anyone.
