I needed to contact the seller to ensure that I was receiving the correct edition. The seller responded promptly, to ensure that it was the correct edition. Most importantly, the price charged was significantly cheaper than other sources. I believe I paid under $10.00, and it was posted in the $90.00 range from other sources! That is what prompted me to ensure that it was the same book with such a price swing! Any student preparing to take the SAT should not go with out this book. The Book provides accurate practice test created by the Test makers (ETS). But don't count on this book to give you excellent review. Review for the SAT is very brief. also this book is no good without the solutions manual which you could buy on amazon. so without the soulutions manual you won't be doing anything but just taking the practice test and not knowing where you went wrong. anyways good luck!Book Review: Helped Me Kick Some SAT Bootie!!!

I worked through all the problems in this book twice before taking my SAT last year, and it obvioiusly helped as I scored in the 95th percentile. To say I highly recommend this book would be a gross understatement. You'd be foolish not to get this book if you're preparing for the SATs.
Another book I highly recommend to soon-to-be college students is called "How to Ace Your Way Through College and Still have a Life." The tips found in this book are ingenious.

I've looked over this book in detail and it is great. The best part is the practice tests.
The only problem I have with it isn't the book itself - it's the teen who I bought the book for 6 months ago & is taking the SATs in 2 months. He hasn't even cracked it. I think if there was an online Official SAT study guide - or one made for the xBox - I'd have better luck getting him to look at it. He is overwhelmed by this enormous book.

This book is for people who are trying the Ace the SAT's not through a bunch of cheap tricks that don't really work, but through hard studying. This book (although known only for the real questions it gives), has a better review section than even Kaplan's. And the best part is the REAL practice questions. The questions that Barron's, Kaplan etc. give are totally bogus. It's not fun, but it is for those who are serious. It's the best buy.
