Book Reviews of The Nostradamus Code: World War IIIBook Review: You've got to be kidding Summary: 1 Stars
Luckily, I only borrowed this from a library. It was the biggest waste of time I've ever read. First, the thing is poorly formatted and written, as if the editor was blind. Secondly, I read it because it had "2007-2012" on the cover - that's the ONLY reference to those dates in the book, the text talks about 'decades after the 00s'. Third, he makes really ridiculous statements like 'The Earth, after a relative period of peace, will suffer a great natural disaster' (ooh, vague, there)... and further down the same paragraph 'Religious leaders will lose credibility because of the inability to explain the earth changes. Christianity will falter.' I'm not a Christian, and even *I* know that religious leaders attribute natural disasters to God's wrath. It's profoundly stupid in ways I can't begin to describe. Skip this one.
Book Review: Agree with negative reviews Summary: 1 Stars
This book fails to offer any indication as to how the author came up with his interpretations. He starts by giving a summary of how Nostradamus wrote his quatrains and then he launches into his own predictions without ever referring back to a single line of Nostradamus' original work. After reading this I have no idea what the Notradamus "code" is; other than a not-so-clever enticement to get you to buy the book. If you think you'll learn about some new methodology in deciphering the quatrains, you'll be sorely disappointed. The author might as well have (and probably did) dream up the interpretations. Whether you believe that Nostradamus himself had something to offer or not, don't waste your money on this very short and amateurish book. You will feel cheated if you buy it.
Book Review: HOW can this man live with himself????? Summary: 1 Stars
I wish I could make this book with NO STARS!! I have read all 3 of Dolores Cannon's 'Conversations with Nostradamus' and this man Michael Rathford thinks he can pledgerize her work and make money out of it. IF YOU BUY THIS BOOK YOU WILL BE EXTREMEMLY DISAPPOINTED. Buy any one of Dolores Cannon's books on Nostradamus if you want to understand the person of Nostradamus or the prophecies. All of the explanations in this book were STOLEN from Dolores Cannon's book - some of the words are an exact duplication! - he didn't even change the wording. Why bother to buy this when you can read the real thing from Dolores? Even the price is the same! THIS BOOK IS AN OUTRAGE! He should be sued - I wish I had burned the money instead of giving it to this man!!!!!
Book Review: Falsely advertised piece of garbage! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this book off the author's/publisher's web site before it was available on Amazon. The picture shown then was that of a 300 plus page hardcover book. What arrived was an 85 page paperback. I couldn't believe that the author/publisher would have the balls to falsely advertise a book to make it more appealing; they both should be put in jail. After reading the first few pages I could tell the author and editor (if edited at all) were idiots and the book was nothing but a scam to make a quick buck. I used it that evening to start a fire in my chiminea. Don't waste your time or money on this garbage like I did.
Book Review: Total Drivel Summary: 1 Stars
I was intrigued by the title and the short exerpt that I read. It went downhill from there. No one proof read this work of fiction. There are so many typos and punctuation errors that it's comical. There are no references for his sources. He doesn't even bother to write the actual quote from Nostradamus - he just refers to them. If I didn't know better I'd say that he just pulled this entire book out of thin air. Maybe it came to him in a vision - ? Do not spend your money on this - buy a pop up book on Nostradamus in the Kids section - you'll get more out of it.
