Book Reviews of The Nostradamus Code: World War III

Book Review: overhyped
Summary: 3 Stars

nothing really new and the title is a little misleading. as always with nostradamus, it depends what you read into it .

Book Review: NOTHING NEW HERE
Summary: 2 Stars

This book is overpriced for the content. The photo of it looks like it is might have content, its appearance is that it is thicker and is a hardback (I should have done my research). It is actually a skinny little book, vague, with nothing really new.

Book Review: Surprised!
Summary: 2 Stars

I was quite disappointed with the way the material was presented and written. Mega errors. A real let down. Also, grossly overpriced.

Book Review: Pass on this one!
Summary: 1 Stars

From the product description and back cover of the book: "Using cutting-edge data mining techniques, Dr. Michael Rathford sifted this complex word puzzle searching for significant patterns and relationships. Almost immediately, he came up with the predictive model known as The Nostradamus Code." - The "data mining techniques" were never discussed in the book, or any other information on how the author came up with what he wrote. For all a reader knows all the information in the book was just made up out of thin air. Without the how, the information is pretty much useless as far as I can tell.

- There is no documentation (for the interested reader to follow up on) on the claims made about Nostradamus in the beginning of the book - could be made up for all I know.

- The author could have helped the reader by providing the original Quatrain or quote from Nostradamus before the supposed 'analysis'.

- Some sections of the book refer to no Quatrain or reference to Nostradamus. What was the author referring to in these sections?

- This is a line from the introduction: "The book gives a *precise* vision of the future, with a rigor bodering on the quality of even scientific papers..." I have no idea how such a statement came be made about this book - there is nothing even close to scientific about it that I could see.

Overall I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. Spend the money on a good meal or almost anything else besides this book.

Book Review: false advertising
Summary: 1 Stars

this book is the biggest dissapointment of anything i ordered online. it promises so much but delivers nothing. on the back cover it says it will tell you of osama bin laden and saddam hussien, neither are mentioned in the book. in the advertising online it says the hidden time line of world war 3 will be revealed:- After reading the book the timeline is still hidden. On the front it says WORLD WAR 3 : 2007 - 2012. No specific years are mentioned in the book. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THIS RUBBISH. There are loads of books on nostradamus, i thought i was buying a new insight into his most up to date prophecies. i was conned into buying it because of the ADVERTISING which is false advertising. It even says the identity of the third antichrist revealed. REVEALED - NOTHING IS REVEALED IN THIS BOOK!!
