Book Review: Handy book for travelers!

This is a great book for travelers ~ we have used it time and time again! If you are traveling along a major interstate or highway, you simply consult this book and it will let you know what facilities and ammenities you will find at each exit along your route. First, you look up the state you are in, (listed alphabetically), then find the highway you are on (listed numerically within the state listing) and then find your upcoming exit numbers. Works for all traffic - north/south/east/westbound traffic. Within each exit listing you'll find all of the pertinent information for that exit, including all gas stations, food marekts, shopping malls, individual stores, available lodging and camping, truck stops, etc. Distances are included as well, so you know how far you might have to drive. We traveled around the states in our rv using this and it was such a help! Lists all Walmarts and Cracker Barrels too, in case you are looking for some overnight parking, or boondocking! (Keep in mind that eventually you will run into a listing or two that may be incorrect ~ a business may have closed down recently, or for that matter opened up ~ but these are to be expected and are updated in each new, yearly edition. We would make notes in ours for several years until we decided it was time to break down and buy the next edition!) Great book!
