Book Review: Surprisingly non-kitschy!

When I picked up Intercourses at a used bookstore, I figured it wouldn't be much more than a pretty addition to my coffee table. To my surprise, it is full of easy recipes that were great for experimenting with ingredients (e.g., figs, edible flowers) and flavor combinations (e.g., scallops with basil and lavender) that I hadn't tried before.
The vignettes from couples who made these recipes range from hilarious to moving, and the recipes are well-written and clear. For those of us who don't have hours and hours to turn dinner into culinary erotica, Intercourses offers simple recipes so that you have plenty of time and energy left over afterwards for, well, whatever you want to do with it.
