I have a 2 year old son, with another on the way. My son loves this book. The drawings are nicely done, but simple. The text works well with the drawings, and present some difficult situations that I'm sure we'll encounter in the future (like stinky diapers, crying baby, etc.) Very nicely done.Book Review: Great Choice!

This book was perfect for my two year old grandson. He loves the Mercer Mayer books already, and was familiar with the character. It explained in simple words some of the things, both positive and negative, about having a new baby in the house. My 3 yr old daughter LOVES this book! Its a great preparation for the new sibling and is very cute with simple explainations for small kids while entertaining enough for older kids who can already read. This book is good to read for a little boy who is going to have a new sibling. Teaches them, in a short format, that they will be able to do things with the new baby, although limited, are still important. We got this book for our 15 month old when we found out we were having another baby. He absolutely loves this book! He carries it around and even sleeps with it in his crib. Even though he's really young, he is very careful with the thin pages. This book is great!
