Book Review: very cute book about welcoming a new baby to the house

I got this book for my son who is 3 years old. I am pregnant with our second child and I wanted to have a book to reinforce the idea of a new baby on the way :-0
He loved the Critter books and I thought this would be a good one to try out and it worked. I love that it is realistic and talks about what a new baby will not do (laugh at jokes, be interested in his toys etc) while giving ideas of what a young child can do with a new baby (hold hands).

Been a huge Little Critter fan for about 15 years, since my nieces were little. They knew to always bring me the critter books to read. Now that I'm a Mom, I love reading them to my toddler. We have a second son coming and this is a sweet and useful book if you're trying to break the news to a young one. But even if you're not expecting again, it's still a cute and sweet book.Book Review: A favorite

My kids have always loved critter books and when my 2 year old daughter saw the cover for this one on the back of another, she asked if we could find this one. My local Borders didn't have it, but ordering it here was easy and relatively quick. I thought this book was very simple and easy for my 2 year old to understand. It addresses things big brother/sister can and can't do with the new baby. It lets the older child know that the baby will cry alot, sleep alot and do little else. I was pleased with the level on which the book was written.Book Review: Great new baby book!

I wanted to get some books to prepare my 2 year old for the arrival of his new brother. This is one of the ones I picked. It's turned out to be a great choice. It has simple text for little ones to understand and goes over the basics of what a new baby is like. The pictures are very cute too. Great book!
