Book Reviews of The Name of this Book Is Secret (The Secret Series)

Book Review: Fun, engaging, and fantastically clever!
Summary: 5 Stars

I absolutely loved this book! It is written in such a clever way, with a smarmy yet charming narrator consistently warning the reader to 'turn back,' and to 'read no further.' The story of Cass and Max-Ernest and the 'secret' they unearth is a wonderful mystery and adventure story, full of suspense, humor, and smart dialogue. I thought the two main characters (Cass and Max-Ernest) were so well-written and likeable...I love stories where the kids get to be heroes! This book will appeal to both boys and girls (another reason why I love this one so much!), ages 9 to 12. But adults will have fun with it too. The book is completely engaging from start to finish and I am so glad it was recommended to me! I highly recommend this one to older children and adults looking for a fun adventure/mystery. You will not be disappointed!

Book Review: Awesome Book of Secrets
Summary: 5 Stars

I am 11 and love mystery series. I have read a series similar to this, called A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket and think that it might be the same author as this book. No one can tell for sure, because in The Name of This Book is Secret Bosch refuses to give his identity and his secrets. In this book, our two characters are Cass and Max Ernest. They soon meet their arch enemies Doctor L and Mrs Mauvais, after looking for clues in an underground house. There Cass and Max Ernest find a magician's notebook...and you have to read the rest. At some points this book is funny and at others it's serious and sometimes it's even scary. If you like mystery series or fantasy series or you have read A Series of Unfortunate Events or other similar books, I guarantee you will love this one! ^..^

Book Review: The Name Of This Book Is Awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

When I first saw this book, I was thinking about how stupid it would be. Well, it was phenomenal.

Towards the beggining the book is a little bit odd and dreary, but then it gets exciting and thrilling. The age range I would put is about 10 yrs - 13 yrs. One of my favorite parts of the book is its memorable characters. Ms. Maurvis, Pietro, Max-Ernest, etc. It makes for an enjoyable, connectable read. Also, the humor is great! The second book is chaptered backwards so: "With any luck this book will explode at the end and I won't have to finish it..." say the author in his second book in the Secret Series.

This book is really good, not stupid. It is clever, relatable, and awesome!
Read it!!!

Book Review: The Name of this Book is Secret: A Book Review by Kiara Saloma
Summary: 5 Stars

Do you like mysteries? Do you like exciting adventures? Well this is a good book for YOU! The book has X's in the beginning, so you won't know what there talking about!

The main characters are Cass and Max-Ernest. Cass is adventures and brave, while Max-Ernest is shy and funny.

The story mostly takes place in school and at the Midnight Sun Spa. The problem is that Benjamin Blake gets kidnapped by Dr.L and Ms.Mavias. It's up to Cass and Max-Ernest to get him back!

I think you should read this book because it's full of mysteries and excitement.

I think people who want to solve problems, or is stuck on one, should read this book!

Book Review: The name of this book is AWESOME!
Summary: 5 Stars

These are great books! I would reccomend them for the age group 8-13. The book is good and worth buying. Sometimes I get an impulse to read it so it's handy to have on your shelf.
This book it narrated by an eccentric narrator with a passionate love for chocolate. It's about two kids, Cass and Max-Ernest. They meet when trying to solve a mystery involving an old magician, two secret societies, and one secret. There's also the mysterious Symphony of Smells, which uses a code for syntheses. (Kudos to you if you know what syntheses are.) Soon they're wrapped up in an adventure which will leave readers wanting more. Which they will get, because there are three more books in the series.
