The pick up artist phenomena and books like Mystery Method and Neil Strauss' THE GAME are appalling examples of some men's single minded focus on manipulating, controlling and using women for their sexual enjoyment. These tactics ignore the emotional, psychological and mental health of the female involved. She is just a tool... a means to an end.
Neither of these works teach men how to be loving, supportive, responsible partners. The focus is strictly on how to get as many young, naive, desperate for love women into bed as possible with tricks and games. Some of them such as DJ Tom Leykis in Los Angeles go so far as to say that the goal is do and say things that lower a woman's self esteem and make her easy to control!
The fact that the growth of this industry is so huge, and that guys around the world are paying thousands of dollars to attend these seminars is frightening.
