"Mysterious Benedict Society and The Perilous Journey" is a story I will never forget. Here, let me tell you about it. The Mysterious Benedict Society is a group of Four Kids named Kate, Reynie, Constance, and Sticky (George). They were brought together by a person named Mr. Benedict in the first book, "The Mysterious Benedict Society". Kate is very adventurous and always carries a bucket around. Reynie is very smart in patterns and puzzles. Constance is very stubborn and very poetic. And last, but not least, Sticky is very intelligent. In this book, the four kids are trying to find the antidote to narcolepsy. The only things that are standing in their way are the Ten Men and Mr. Curtain. They are called Ten Men because they can hurt you ten different ways. Some of the places they go to are a cave, a boat, a shack, and villages. The scariest place they went to was an old abandoned shack in the middle of nowhere. There they meet four Ten Men! Just in the nick of time, Kate's father, Milligan, comes and saves them before the Ten Men capture them. My favorite part is when they are trapped in a small, stuffy hotel room with one of the strong and mean Ten Men. Then, right out of the blue, Milligan again comes and saves them by shooting a sleeping dart in the Ten Men's shoulder. I won't tell you the rest of the story, but if you want to read the book, go right ahead, I won't stop you.
