Book Review: As wonderful as watching the mini series!

I absolutely enjoyed looking behind the scenes of one of my favorite miniseries of all time. I have watched the series several times, and I found this book to really add to the experience. I was most surprised to see the cast photos of how they look in real life! If you enjoyed the series, I think you will enjoy seeing how it was filmed, what makeup and wigs were used, how the costumes were acquired and more!Book Review: Great Book!

This book was truly an excellent behind the scenes look for any and all lovers of this great film! The sections were quite thorough, wonderful pictures, great anecdotes and an amazing in-depth interview with Colin Firth!!!!!!! I promise you will have a glimpse into the inner workings of how a production of this size is layer by layer built upon. I found it very interesting. You have costume notes, where the scenes were shot, how everything was set up, pictures of the cast in "real life" and bios of the main characters. There are also production stills and much more for anyone who loved this A&E show.

If you like P& P version with Colin Firth you will love this book as much as I did. I enjoyed seeing how they came up with the authentic costumes, food, carriages etc. It was also fun to see how they found all the neat characters and their transformations. A very fun read indeed.
