Book Review: fun collectible

This is such a cute book!
Each double-page layout features a different Nancy Drew mystery, and gives information on how she solved the case. For example, the first layout contains notes from her first book "The Secret in the Old Clock". It has an entry from Nancy's Journal, a copy of the will she found in the clock, the charity tickets Nancy sold to the Topham's, and other fun things. The book contains pop-ups, pull-outs, ribbons, diagrams, and other fun "hands-on" things for kids to play with. You get to pull pictures out of sleeves, open envelopes, untie bows, and pull tabs (among other things). It makes you imagine that you are looking at all the original documents and clues that helped Nancy solve her mysteries over the years.
As a bonus: there is a package of Nancy Drew postcards that comes with each book.

Book Review: Beautiful Keepsake for Nancy Drew Fans

This well-designed colorful book is a wonderful companion piece to the Nancy Drew series. My twelve-year-old neice saw this in a store and immediately loved it. I bought it from Amazon for her birthday because as always Amazon books are in perfect condition, whereas at a store they were not, especially because of the nature of this book. This book has many little windows to open, ribbons to untie, and papers to take out of pockets. It is nice because it makes the reader feel like they are actively participating in the mysteries. Each two page spread covers one of the Nancy Drew books and shows the book it covers in the top left corner. It's nice for the reader to remember the story while they look at the book inserts. I wish they had this book when I was a kid reading Nancy Drew!Book Review: Really Fun Book

This book is so much fun! There are a total of 13 Nancy Drew mysteries covered and each takes up two pages, so there is a lot of stuff to read. Each page features a journal entry written by Nancy that summarizes the case. There are also lots of interactive features to the book. For instance, sometimes you have to untie something to read what is inside. Other times, you can rotate a little tab to make something turn. It is all so cute and fun! The book even includes a couple of pages about Nancy Drew through the decades, information about the making of Nancy Drew, and postcards! If you are a Nancy Drew fan then you should definitely buy this book. I guarantee you that you will spend at least one hour looking through the whole book. This book was great! I loved all the special pullouts. It was realy fun to run your hand over the page and wonder what else you'll find. It was so cool how some of the pictures looked so clear and real, it was almost as if you could touch them. This book gave great information. Just once bit of advice, make sure before reading all about the certain book it's telling you about, make sure you've read the whole book before. Because it basically gives you the ending. If you love Nancy Drew, this is a wonderful trip down memory lane of some of Nancy's favorite cases, how she solved them, and lots of soulvenirs and clues that helped her crack the cases.
This is not a Nancy Drew mystery, but a wonderfully put-together book of memories presented by Nancy, herself! The Lost Files of Nancy Drew will certainly be appeciated by kids, but I think adults will especially love it.
It's just so beautiful and will appeal to the sentimental side of your nature!
