Book Reviews of The Long Hard Road Out of HellBook Review: A good read not only for fans.. Summary: 5 Stars
but for anyone who believes that they know what Manson is about, because outside of his fans, nobody does. I read this book wanting to know and try to understand what makes Marilyn click, and he has answered all of my questions. This book is a very good read, very interesting, and quite addictive. Marilyn writes about his life experiences which tranformed him into what he is today. He tells you his views on alot of subjects in a very insightful way. After reading this you will understand and will discover that many of his views will make you question things that go on in our world and make you realize a few other truths that perhaps most of us don't like to admit or just never really give alot of thought to. Marilyn is very caring, funny, and a genius. He is usually misunderstood by a widely judgemental and self-rightoues society. So for any one who "thinks" that they know what he is about, read this, and he will succeed in setting the record straight.
Book Review: Best page-turner I have ever read Summary: 5 Stars
I have always been a fan of manson's music, but I never really knew what was true about him and what was false. As it turns out, this book showed me a side of life that i'd never been shown before. It is a book that is very hard to put down, and i've found myself reading until 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning, for hours straight. The book gives many insights into manson's life, and why he is the way he is today, but it also shows that Manson is a bright individual, who knows what he's talking about. This book shines suprising reality on what you may have taken for granted before. My view of the world is certainly much different after reading this book. I recommend it to anyone who wants to see a much different view of the world. I have lent it to several of my friends and they have confessed to me that they were suprised by how good of a book it was. If you want something that will keep you reading page after page, i say you buy this book.
Book Review: :-) Summary: 5 Stars
ok here i go.... i think EVERYONE should read this book!! that includes the people that LOVE Manson, the people that HATE Manson and people that just became a sheep of his flock. first off- it's written by the Big Cheese, manson himself. he talks about everything, school being hell, his grandfather's pornography, how he broke down several different times, struggles with girls, drug hallucinations, and Anton LaVey. ALSO, at the back includes exerpts from his Journal, some rumours about him, claims, protests against him by Xtians, pictures... you name it, this book's got it! It's packed with everything that you want to know up to the release of Antichrist Svperstar. i am anticipating an update of this biography soon... it is definately one of the best books i've read in my entire lyfetime... he writes so well.. and he's not afraid to be himself. quite intelligent, witty, sarcastic, down to mellow and vulnerable. LOVE IT!!!!
Book Review: THE MOST MOVING STORY EVER TOLD! Summary: 5 Stars
MM's story is not for the faint of heart, but more for those who have always known that Human Nature is not actually what we might like it to be, or believe it to be. But I would still highly recommend it for everyone!I believe the events told by MM are all very accurate. Also, I truly believe that whatever people see and feel about MARILYN MANSON, is actually whatever is in themselves. Many people just see the sex and drugs. What I see is raw truth (Human Nature), and as a person, be it MM or Brian, from the very start, I can clearly see his individual Humanity (morality) shine through like an absolute, bright star! MM has greatly matured as a person, and therefore, as an artist/writer. And I believe that after all the philosophical arguments over right/wrong have worn themselves out, in the end, the truth prevails: there are no standards of right and wrong, there's only our Maturity. Try it, you might like it!!!
Book Review: Incredible Summary: 5 Stars
This book is fabulous. Revolting, heart-wrenching, sadistic, hilarious, and bittersweet. Even if you hate Marilyn Manson's music, you'll love this book. Unless, of course, you are a person who looks only skin deep. Or someone with a weak stomach - this man has been through a lot. But every disgusting aspect of his life has come to play a role in the person that he has become, his insight on mankind and also himself, his proof that he is, in fact, human, and an intelligent one at that. It's time we need some rockstars like Mr. Manson who will admit that they are human, admit that they screw up, and to actually admit [instead of constantly prove] that they have human factors such as being self centered, ignorant, arrogant, greedy, addicted, etc.Manson is daring the reader to take chances, make mistakes, and learn from their OWN experience - not anyone else's. To question their own self, their own morality, and grow from it.
