Book Review: The Book is OK!!!!
Summary: 4 Stars
I liked this book! It's definitely not rocket-science! LOL! Seriously, I think it will give the reader some basic knowledge about developing thier own style. I must say that most of us who are not in the fashion business do not normally have a tailor on call, nor are we "international jetsetters!", such as Ms. Garcia.....who continually pounds us over the head w/her wordliness. I digress....the book is very intertaining and I don't think you'll regret buying it!Book Review: A Must Have in your Style Library

"The Little Black Book of Style" written by ex-Fashion Director of Elle Nina Garcia is a great straight forward read for beginners and fashion experts alike. The book is very clean, organized, straight to the point and not at all wordy. Garcia talks about everything from basic wardrobe staples (and different ways to wear them) to inspirations in music, art and the movies. It is also a small book so it's easy to travel with as well. This book is the perfect Sunday afternoon book. Beautifully illustrated I enjoyed leafing through whilst curled up on the sofa. Whilst none of the information is new, most people acknowledge the power of the LBD, it is a good summary. The style of writing is relaxed and informal and it is a nice break from magazines. The interviews with celebrities were interesting to read, and it has made me begin to re-assess my wardrobe...Book Review: Good book

Nina Garcia knows her stuff. The advice she gives on style is for the most part practical yet unique. The personal stories about her parents are sweet and you can see where she gets her sense of style from. The only probably I had with the book is Nina's love of fur - I'm not a fur lover, and she recommends fur a lot and finds it to be very glamorous. I don't agree but other than that I found the book to be very helpful.Book Review: Wonderful Book

This book is very chic-ly put together. The Artwork is very chic. and fun and you can get some ideas of fashion just from the pictures!
My favorite part of the book is the question and answer of some of the top designers.
